π₯ EMBER β Post-16 Pathway
EMBER is a supportive post-16 pathway for young people aged 16β25 who need a different approach to education.
Designed for learners who are not yet ready for a mainstream college environment, EMBER provides a calm, structured setting with small class sizes (no more than 8 learners) and a strong focus on individual support and one-to-one coaching.
Learners follow vocational pathways across a range of sectors and levels, allowing them to progress at a pace that works for them. With time, consistency, and personalised learning, EMBER helps young people rebuild confidence, develop essential skills, and re-engage with education.
For some, EMBER acts as a stepping stone into further education or employment. For others, it offers the opportunity to complete their full post-16 journey in a nurturing environment where they are known, supported, and valued.
EMBER is about more than qualifications β itβs about helping learners find their spark and build a sustainable future.
Currently the vocational courses we offer are Hairdressing, Beauty Therapy, Construction and Vehicle Maintenance. These will sit alongside Functional Skills, Employability and intervention work which will support our learners with the individual needs they have to flourish and grow in our academy environment.
All of our qualifications are regulated by either VTCT Skills or NOCN and delivered by fully trained and qualified tutor/assessors. All of our academies are fully equipped to deliver to the standard of the required qualifications.
